Cilantro Lime Hummus

1 (15 ounce) can of garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained
1 cup of fresh cilantro (or to taste)
2-4 cloves of garlic depending on your garlic preference
2 tbsp. lime juice
1 tsp. ground cumin
Salt and black pepper to taste
3 tbs. Olive Oil

Place everything in a food processor until smooth.

Now this is a very simple base recipe for hummus, normally it is made with tahini (about 2 tbsp. for this recipe).  I have also added jalapeno peppers to it as well but without the seeds (I’m a wimp). Please feel free to add ingredients that you like to make it your own and share your variations if you make it.
