So remember when I told you that I needed to find different ways of working out? well I have been wanting to play Tennis for quite some time now, I love watching matches on TV and always wanted to do it but never got around to it so today I just decided to "just do it" like the Nike commercial says. Yesterday after work I went to the thrift store where I had seen some tennis rackets before and I happened to find three perfect ones for about $13 total (score!) and then I went to Walmart to get an additional one, the balls and some tape to re-cover the handles on the used ones.
I spent a total of less than $30 and off to the Tennis courts we went. We spent a little over an hour got our heart rates up, lots of sweat, the weather was perfect but most importantly I spent quality time with the most important people in my life. My husband got to join us today because he did not work so it was perfect.
I know some of you may not have the luxury of Florida weather but I am sure there is something you can find to do that you will enjoy so get to it! :)
