Half Marathon and Sneakers


That moment when you get home for lunch, get your new running sneakers right after you just signed up for your first ½ Marathon!!! Yup that just happened and I am more excited than I can even begin to express.  Fitness for me is about constantly challenging myself because those challenges are the thing that keep me motivated and striving for more.  Today I was reminded of when I signed up for my first 5k and how nervous and anxious I was the weeks leading up to it and then I did it and I was so proud of myself.

I encourage you to challenge yourself, get out of your comfort zone and do something you never thought you would do.  At 40 years old I am living a life that I never thought I would, I have put my health first and it is world changing, try it you will love it!
